Internal or Family Medicine Physician - Houston, TX

Avant Tech is hiring a Board-Certified/Eligible Internal or Family Medicine Physician for a full-time contract role at a leading federal medical center serving Veterans in Houston, TX. This role offers long-term stability, mission-driven care, and competitive hourly pay.

Location: Houston, TX | Schedule: M–F, 8am–4:30pm | Contract: 5 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive outpatient primary care
• Manage chronic and acute conditions
• Perform routine wellness checks
• Coordinate care with VA clinical teams
• Maintain EHR documentation standards

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified/Eligible in Internal or Family Medicine
• Active medical license (any U.S. state)
• BLS & ACLS (AHA only)
• Valid DEA & NPI numbers
• Clean background (OIG check)
• 3 professional references
