As a Rehabilitation Consultant, some of your day to day includes:

  • Case management (caseloads are manageable, and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks) 
  • Applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes
  • Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs
  • Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals and completing a variety of assessments using your clinical and discipline specific allied health skills, such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments.
  • Deliver our innovative virtual reality pain education program, Re-thinking Recovery - This program centres around using virtual reality and modern pain science to help people understand pain and re-train their brain and body.

You'll be a driven and energetic professional with hopefully all of the qualities below!

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Full Professional Registration with AHPRA or eligibility to apply
  • Fabulous communication skills - there is a lot of getting to know your clients and stakeholders!;
  • Compassion and kindness always go a long way as does empathy;
  • It's the kind of career where well developed time management skills are a must & plus!;
  • A current valid Driver’s License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance is a must.
