Renal Staff Nurse

Job Descriptions:

• Support nursing philosophy and the vision, mission and values of the organisation
• Provide quality nursing care for an assigned group of patients
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the nursing care plan.
• To prepare equipment and patient for dialysis.
• Initiate and terminate haemodialysis
• Monitoring patient's parameters before and after haemodialysis.
• Assess patient's needs during dialysis (e.g. psychological, emotional and physical)
• Assist with procedures related to dialysis therapy
• Implement established operational and nursing policies and procedures.
• Provide orientation and guidance to junior nurses.
• Demonstrate good interpersonal skills with staff, patients and public.
• Maintain a safe and clean centre environment, furnishing and equipment.
• Participate, contribute, and implement changes to work processes
• Attend continuing nursing education to maintain clinical knowledge and competence
• Participate in nursing research
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Must possess at least a Diploma in Nursing or any related field.
• Recognised Nursing qualification and registered with the Singapore Nursing Board.
• Certified with valid Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) + AED.
• Highly motivated with the ability to work in a team.
• Good interpersonal and communications skills.
• Candidates without any prior experience are welcome.
